Project TypeCard Art
ClientWeird Co & CD Projekt Red

It was amazing to partner with the teams at Weird Company and CD Projekt Red to create 15 unique pieces of card art for the Cyberpunk Trading Card Game, which is currently being crowdfunded.

As of April 2026, the game made Kickstarter history: it hit its $100k Kickstarter goal in five minutes and crossed $8 million in under 24 hours. It's now the most-funded TCG Kickstarter ever, with nearly every stretch goal already unlocked. Joining them at this stage in the process has been a wonderful opportunity to create art that shows just how killer this game is going to be.

The characters of Cyberpunk 2077 are constantly battling between humanity and technology within a ruthless, corporate-dominated society.

The cards needed to represent characters such as Dexter DeShawn (you're either working with him, or you’re already screwed) and Royce (a menace that packs a heavy Militech punch) in a way that expressed the game's maturity and violence.

Gritty and splashed with neon, these pieces allowed our team to explore Cyberpunk’s unique aesthetic. They experimented to find the perfect glow of slick city lighting and graphical style elements such as strategically placed raked brush strokes and halftone dots. Tenets of the aesthetic included vibrant colours, visible line art, and hard-edged shading.

Despite the world of Cyberpunk being gritty and dark, the project was a joy from start to finish!
